Utah Goes on 35-9 Run, Defeats Cavs 117-91

CLEVELAND-With 5:16 to go in the 3rd quarter, Collin Sexton made a three point jumper to go on a 64-61 Cavs lead. Utah went on a 35-9 run in a blank of an eye to put the game out of reach as the Cavs lose their 8th straight game.

Cavs competed in the first half, led by a 2nd quarter 14-2 scoring run. Rodney Hood and Alec Burks performed well early and in this run as they were facing their former team. However, Donovan Mitchell who scored his first points midway through the 2nd quarter who made the final statement against the Cavs.

Former Cavs' Jae Crowder and Kyle Korver showed out as well. Crowder made three 3-pointers and Korver had 10 points on his own coming off the bench.

Cavs will play again Saturday night at home against Anthony Davis and the New Orleans Pelicans. The Jazz who won their first game in Cleveland since March of 2012 will travel to Detroit Saturday night.
