Police investigate shooting that left 3 wounded

Cleveland - Police are searching for suspects after three people were shot and wounded, one of them critically, inside an East Side gas station.

It happened around 3:00AM Saturday at a gas station in the 5300  block of Woodland Avenue.

Police say a 25-year-old man was wounded in the hip and groin; he's in critical condition.A 26-year-old man was wounded in the leg and mouth; he is in serious condition.

A 36-year-old woman was shot in both knees and is in stable condition.All three are hospitalized at MetroHealth Medical Center.

According to a police report, officers interviewed those inside the store, but most said they didn't see anything.

However, the woman who was wounded told officers she was standing in line waiting to buy a sandwich when two men began arguing.

Police say another man alerted them to a gun lying in a pool of blood near the employees' entrance to the store.

Workers at the store weren't able to give police any information.
