Elyria - The man accused of carjacking a 33-year-old in a gas station parking lot late Thursday has been arrested.
Elyria Police caught 39-year-old Johnny G. Mack III in the parking lot of 303 Chestnut Commons Drive a little before 10 a.m. Friday morning.
Mack admitted to officers his involvement in the attempted carjacking, while also admitting to being involved in a break-in of the management offices at 630 South Abbe Road on Monday. Numerous computer monitors and key boards were taken from that break-in.
Mack, who is currently being held at the Lorain County Jail with no bond, faces aggravated robbery and breaking and entering charges.
