As We Debate The Border Crisis, We Must Remember Our Compassion

Tune in to Geraldo In Cleveland, Weekdays 9-10am on WTAM 1100, now on 106.9 FM.

One of the biggest problems about the American Dream is that most people want it, and will do anything to get it. This is not the first time this country has seen a flood of humanity gather at it's borders. And sadly, the same problems are creeping up.

If it was the masses coming from Europe a century ago, or the current group of migrants, people tend to fear what they don't understand. It is important to understand that though they may look different, speak contrasting languages, and have different customs, it is important to understand they want the same thing as most Americans want.

A safe place to raise their family.

It is painfully clear that people on both sides of the border need help. While the President thinks that help should come in the form of the US Army, there may be a better solution.
