(Cleveland) - This could be the busiest Thanksgiving ever for air travel, according to projections from the Transportation Security Administration.
Cleveland Hopkins International Airport director Robert Kennedy says they are expecting their busiest Thanksgiving travel season in a decade.
He urges outbound passengers to arrive early.
Kennedy tells Newsradio WTAM 1100, that their busiest days are today, Sunday, and Monday.
He says, if you are picking up someone, feel free to use the two cellphone lots instead of cruising the terminal roadway.
Still, travelers should be prepared for crowds, and long lines TSA checkpoints. Security screeners may have an additional 25% more passengers to deal with.
