(CLEVELAND) Crain's Cleveland Business is reporting the NBA and the Cleveland Cavaliers will soon announce Quicken Loans Arena will host an NBA All-Star Game. The announcement, according to Crain's, could occur as soon as Thursday, November 1st.
The NBA said it would look to The Q hosting a week of NBA All-Star events in Cleveland upon completion on the arena's renovation. That started September 14, 2017. The $185 million project should be completed prior to the 2019-20 NBA season.
The earliest the NBA All-Star festivities could be held at The Q is 2022.
