Hue Jackson Out As Browns Head Coach

(Berea) - The Browns have reportedly fired head coach Hue Jackson, this after he won only three games in his two and a half seasons as Browns coach.

Adam Schefter of ESPN is reporting Jackson's departure.  Al Saunders, the Browns' senior offensive assistant coach, will be interim head coach.

Jackson finally racked up two wins this season, along with one tie, but the last straw was losing three in a row, including Sunday's loss at Pittsburgh.  Ironically, all of the last six Browns coaches have been fired following a loss to the Steelers.

The Browns had a 2-5-1 record under Jackson this year, an 0-16 record last year, and 1-15 in 2016.

Jackson's departure from the Browns comes one day after the Cavaliers fired head coach Tyronn Lue, after that team started the season 0-6, making this one of the rare instances where two head coaches in the same city were fired a day apart.
