Fire Guts Abandoned Building On Cleveland's West Side

Cleveland - A blaze on Cleveland's west side gutted an abandoned recycling center Monday morning.

Cleveland Fire, EMS and Police all responded to the building near the intersection of West 73rd Street and Denison Avenue. Fire crews had to break of steel doors to get to the blaze, which filled the building quickly.

"We think some homeless people may have been living inside the building," says Cleveland Fire Lieutenant Mike Norman. Norman also says crews found what appeared to be hay and shredded money inside the building.

The blaze remains under investigation.
