(Cleveland) - HHS Deputy Secretary Hargan met with University Hospitals leadership and other local health officials to discuss topics including opioid epidemic and other health concerns.
Hargan says the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services is working with state and local leaders to solve the nation's opioid crisis.
Hargan took part in a roundtable talk with community leaders to learn about the challenges faced, and the progress being made toward addressing the crisis in Greater Cleveland/Cuyahoga County.
Hargan also toured UH Rainbow Babies & Children's Hospital's NICU, UH Seidman Cancer and conclude with an Innovation roundtable with UH, Cleveland Clinic and MetroHealth representatives.
