(Toronto, Ontario) -- Kawhi Leonard led the way with a double-double in his Raptors debut as they upended the Cavaliers 116-104 in Toronto. Leonard scored 24 points and pulled down 12 rebounds in the season-opening victory.
Kyle Lowry poured in a game-high 27 points for the Raptors and Fred VanVleet added 14 off the bench in the winning effort.
Kevin Love paced Cleveland with 21 points. Cedi Osman scored 17 points and snagged 11 boards in defeat.
The Cavaliers continue on the road as their next contest is Friday night in Minneapolis against the Minnesota Timberwolves. Tipoff at 8 on WTAM 1100 AM and 106.9 FM, and 100.7 WMMS.
