Suspect Wanted In Westlake Armed Robbery

Westlake - Westlake Police looking for a man who robbed a store at gunpoint October 12th.

Westlake Police received a call from the clerk at the Convenient Store on Detroit at Dover Center Road. The clerk reported that he had been robbed at gunpoint. The male suspect had entered the store and brandished a handgun while demanding cash. The clerk complied and was unharmed as the male fled with an undisclosed amount of money.

The suspect is described as heavier set, 6' tall or under and weighing approx. 180-220 pounds. He had a black beard and mustache and was wearing a grey hooded sweatshirt, possibly a dark stocking cap and dark pants. The suspect fled in an unknown direction.
