(Columbus, OH) -- More than 100 crew members from AEP Ohio and Ohio Task Force One are on their way to the Gulf Coast to assist in Hurricane Michael relief efforts. AEP announced yesterday they were sending the specially trained electric and power crews first to Alabama, where they will wait out the storm before being deployed on Friday. Hurricane Michael came ashore on Wednesday as a Category Four storm with winds clocked at over 155 miles per hour. Lots of local people from the Cleveland Red Cross are on the ground helping out, too. Here's where you can donate https://www.redcross.org/donate/hurricane-michael-donations.html/
