Convicted sex offender-burglar caught in Euclid

(Cuyahoga County) - Today, members of the U.S. Marshals arrested convicted sex offender accused of breaking into schools in the Cleveland area. Jon Titter, 38, was apprehended at his home in Euclid today near the 200 Block of E. 264th Street.

Titter was wanted by the Willoughby Police Department for burglary of a Willoughby School and was also wanted by the Geauga County Sheriff’s Department for breaking and entering into Hawken School and allegedly stealing yearbooks.

Law enforcement also had a search warrant for Titter’s residence in which they executed today. A Hawken School yearbook was one of the items seized.

US Marshal Pete Elliott told Newsradio WTAM 1100,  “Collaborative law enforcement efforts amongst federal and state entities are the reason Titter is in custody today. The community can exhale, knowing this sex offender is behind bars and not posing a threat on students in our local schools.”
