Warrensville Heights - Long-time Northeast Ohio youth soccer coach Tibi Regele will open an innovative soccer training center, Excel Soccer Skills Development, October 7th in Warrensville Heights.
Through the center, Coach Tibi will work with players in small group settings to build fundamental technical and tactical soccer skills to take players to the next level.
Coach Tibi, who is also the Head Soccer Coach at Magnificat High School, has an extensive history of playing and coaching soccer.
Tibi has spent the past 14 years coaching girls’ varsity teams, including Laurel School and Solon High School, as well as premier soccer clubs: Cleveland Select Soccer Club and Ohio Premier Soccer Club. He also holds a United States Soccer Federation “C” License.
Beginning in 1986, he played professional soccer for eight years for BP Volan SC. He was also a member of the Youth National Budapest team competing against AC Milan Anderlecht, Stuttgart, 1 FC Koln, Torino, Gent, St Etienne, Montpellier, etcetera.
Excel Soccer is specifically designed for smaller group practices to ensure high intensity and frequent touches of the ball. The special mat next to the field will provide space for warm-up and cool-down exercises. Each class, with a maximum coach to student ratio of 1:8, will offer a comprehensive curriculum, including offense/finishing, defense, foot skills and goalie training, required to get players to the next level of soccer. Players will be assigned to specific classes based on their skill level.
