CVCC To Offer Scholarship Workshop

Brecksville  – Cuyahoga Valley Career Center (CVCC) is offering a workshop for college bound seniors and their parents on Wednesday, November 14th from 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

The free event is an opportunity to hear representatives from College Now and the Foundation Center discuss the following: how to research private scholarships, what scholarship opportunities are available to students from Northeast Ohio, foundation support, scholarship scams and how to write effective scholarship essays. (The Foundation Center is the leading source of information about philanthropy worldwide and College Now provides students with guidance and access to funds to prepare for and graduate from college.)

Cuyahoga Valley Career Center serves the public school districts of Brecksville-Broadview Heights, Cuyahoga Heights, Garfield Heights, Independence, Nordonia Hills, North Royalton, Revere and Twinsburg. 

Student Workshops and Adult Education courses are open and available to all residents of Northeast Ohio. The Career Center is located one mile east of the I-77/Wallings Road exit, opposite Wallings Road on Route 21.
