Everyone deserves to make a living- retail workers, fast food workers, everyone. Amazon did a great thing by raising their starting wage. Not just for the lower-level employees who will see more money in their pocket immediately, but for everyone in the company.
However, this good news doesn't completely overshadow the discord in Washington. As the FBI investigation into Brett Kavanaugh is starting to incorporate High School Yearbooks and statements from classmates, we need to start worrying about our sons as much as our daughters in the days of the #metoo movement.
Parents should always take more interest in their kids, and worry about their future. But, no one thought that they would have to for such a troubling reason.
