Cleveland cops nab Lakewood robbers

Lakewood - Police have arrested three young men---two juveniles and one adult---following two armed robberies on Friday.

The first occurred around 9:34PM when a man reported that he had been robbed at gunpoint by three males on bicycles in the vicinity of 13000 Edgewater.

A short time later, while officers were still sorting through the first robbery, a woman called police saying she had been robbed at gunpoint by three males on bikes, near the railroad tracks on Ethel Avenue.

About an hour later, at 11:20PM, Lakewood Police were notified that Cleveland police had arrested three youths who fit the description of the robbers near I-71 and West 150th Street.

The victims were able to positively identify the robbers, and they are in custody.
