(Stow) -- Parents in the Stow-Munroe Falls schools are being urged to take precautions amid an outbreak of hand, foot and mouth disease. District officials say the highly-contagious illness is spreading among children in the community. Symptoms include blisters or sores on the feet, hands and face; headaches and fevers. Families are asked to keep kids at home while symptoms persist and promote frequent hand washing.
