Sandusky - The wait is officially over, as Halloweekends makes it's return to Cedar Point Friday night.
The event, which runs until October 28th and is in it's 21st season, brings thrills and screams to a whole new level at the park in Northwest Ohio.
Plenty of new attractions, food and scares are expected. As far the scares, the new "Trail of the Forsaken" will take park-goers through the Frontier Trail, which turns their worst phobias into reality after a spell was cast on the whole town. Also, the new Hexed: Lights Out! attraction lets those who dare to navigate through the area in complete darkness with only a flashlight to guide you.
Food-wise, new corn-on-the-cob creations, apple dumplings, turkey legs and many more sweet and savory fall-inspired creations take center stage on the Lakeside Midway.
And of course, the thrill seekers continue to get the experience of Steel Vengeance, which was voted best new ride of 2018 by Amusement Today.
