ST. PETERSBURG-Blake Snell had an afternoon the Indians' offense will want to forget about as he dominated the Indians for his 19th win of the season (leads Major League Baseball) and a 3 to 1 team victory over the Indians.
It would've been a Rays No-Hitter but Jose Ramirez homered to lead in the seventh. But it was a forgettable series for the AL Central leading Indians who gave up a walk-off Monday night. But the Rays who are eight games behind Oakland behind for the second AL Wild Card spot need every win they can get to capture the A's with 17 games left.
For the Indians, they are off tomorrow as they return home to begin their final homestand Friday night against the Detroit Tigers. First pitch is at 7:10pm on Newsradio WTAM 1100.
