(Cleveland) - A major meeting will be held Thursday on the heroin epidemic in northeast Ohio, organized by the U.S. Attorney's Office.
It's called Opioids: A Crisis Still Facing Our Entire Community. The session will take at the Intercontinental Hotel, on Carnegie Avenue in Cleveland, and starts at 8 a.m. with a complete conference agenda.
The purpose is to examine and revise the community action plan created at their first such conference 5 years ago.
Mike Tobin of the U.S. Attorney's Office in Cleveland says participants will look to identify sustainable solutions and action steps through four subcommittees: Education and Prevention, Law Enforcement, Healthcare Policy/Treatment and Data and Analytics.
