(Cleveland) -- Students at 18 Cleveland public schools will have an unexpected day off to beat the heat. District officials say the schools are being closed today because temperatures inside the buildings are too high for a comfortable learning environment. The decision comes after five Cleveland schools were closed early yesterday because of rising temperatures.
