(Painesville) - The man accused of the hit-and-run that killed a Mentor Police officer is now charged with vehicular homicide.
Brian Anthony now faces five charges in the death of Mathew Mazany.
Anthony was initially charged with failure to stop and is now charged with OVI, failing to proceed with due caution and more.
Investigators say that Anthony left the scene of the crash after hitting Mazany.
The prosecutor contends Anthony's urine tested positive for opioids after the accident. He's currently being held in the Lake County Jail.
