(Cincinnati, OH) -- Melky Cabrera hit a go-ahead, two-run homer in the sixth inning as the Indians rallied past the Reds 4-3 in Cincinnati. Greg Allen had a pair of hits, an RBI, and a run scored for the Tribe, which rallied from an early 3-0 deficit.
Dan Otero got the win and Brad Hand the save. Cleveland has won five in-a-row and leads the AL Central by 12-and-a-half games over Minnesota.
Preston Tucker capped a three-run first inning for the Reds with a two-run homer. Cody Reed was charged with the loss. Cincy is on a four-game slide.
The Indians are off on Thursday. Friday night, they are back home for the first of three against the AL East bottom-dwellers, the Baltimore Orioles. Hear all three games on WTAM 1100 and 100.7 WMMS.
