Holy Rosary Church in Cleveland's Little Italy will be the center of festivities the rest of this week, as area Catholics observe the annual Feast of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary. The opening mass will begin Wednesday at 10am, with the procession following, beginning on Mayfield and winding through the streets of Little Italy. The Feast begins at noon, with a sit-down Cavatelli dinner taking place inside Holy Rosary until 330pm.
The festivities, which includes carnival rides and food from multiple Little Italy establishments, continue Thursday and Friday evenings, and then again all day Saturday, with a closing mass set for Saturday evening at 8pm, followed by a night procession that marks the official end.
