Indians Hold Off White Sox, Take Two Of Three

(Chicago, IL)  --  Carlos Carrasco fired seven strong innings for the Indians as they held off the White Sox 9-7 in Chicago.  Carrasco struck out nine and earned his 14th win.  

Melky Cabrera crushed a three-run homer in the first inning and the Tribe never looked back.  Cody Allen earned his 23rd save.  

Adam Engel fell a double shy of the cycle and drove in three runs for the White Sox.  Dylan Covey was chased in the third inning and took the loss.  Yolmer Sanchez homered in defeat.

The Indians wrap up the road trip with their last interleague games in Cincinnati. Monday night's contest at Great American Ballpark features Mike Clevinger on the mound for the Tribe, and Homer Bailey for the Reds. First pitch at 7:10 on WTAM 1100 and 100.7 WMMS.
