Indians Blank Twins In Rubber Match

(Minneapolis, MN)  --  Carlos Carrasco and Brad Hand combined on a five-hitter as the Indians shut out the Twins 2-0 in the rubber match of a three-game series in Minnesota.  Carrasco struck out 10 while pitching into the eighth inning for his 13th win.  Hand got the final five outs for his second save.  

Rajai Davis scored on a double-steal attempt in the sixth inning and Yan Gomes added an RBI single in the ninth for the Tribe.  

Jorge Polanco had two of Minnesota's five hits in defeat.  Matt Magill suffered the loss.

The Tribe is off Thursday, returning to Progressive Field Friday for a seven-game home series, starting with the first of three against the Los Angeles Angels on Friday night.
