Twins Get Walk-Off Win Over Indians

(Minneapolis, MN)  --  Mitch Garver doubled home the winning run in the ninth inning as the Twins walked off the Indians 5-4 in Minneapolis.  Jorge Polanco singled home two Minnesota runs.  Ervin Santana gave up four runs in five-and-one-third innings in his second Twins' start since coming off the disabled list.  

Jose Ramirez homered twice for the Indians, upping his total to 32 to tie for the most in the majors.  Yan Gomes also had a solo shot for Cleveland.  

The Indians still hold an eight-game lead over the Twins in the AL Central.

Game two of the three-game series with the Twins is Tuesday evening.  Trevor Bauer starts for the Tribe, and Kyle Gibson for Minnesota.  First pitch at 8:10 on WTAM 1100 and 100.7 WMMS.
