Johnny Manziel, ex-landlord, resolve lawsuit

Los Angeles (TTWN Media Networks) - Former Cleveland Browns quarterback Johnny Manziel and the owner of a Hollywood Hills home have settled the landlord's lawsuit.

Daniel Fitzgerald sued Manziel in October 2016 for over $350,000.00, claiming the onetime college football star trashed the house during an 8-month lease.

Fitzgerald's suit alleged "Johnny Football" and his friend Bryan Chase threw all-night parties and caused daily disturbances to the neighborhood.

The plaintiff also claimed the defendants broke doors and left "immense amounts of dog feces and urine".

Fitzgerald filed a request for dismissal of the suit earlier this month with a Los Angeles Superior Court judge.

Terms of the resolution were not disclosed.

Manziel played at Texas A&M and won the Heisman Trophy as a freshman quarterback.

He played just two seasons with the Browns, and is now a member of the Montreal Alouettes of the Canadian Football League.
