(MANSFIELD) The suspect in a Lorain County AMBER Alert is behind bars. U.S. Marshals say Robert Beane was arrested Wednesday near Mansfield, where he was hiding in a tent with his ten-month-old son.
An AMBER Alert was issued after Lorain police say Beane pistol-whipped the child's mother before abducting the boy and taking off in a stolen car.
Beane disappeared earlier this month when he escaped from Lorain County authorities while on a medical furlough.
