Kevin Love Signs Extension With Cavs

Cleveland - The beginning of a new era has dawned in "The Land".

That after Five-time All-Star Kevin Love signed a four-year contract extension Tuesday. The deal is reportedly worth $120 million over the four years, bringing his total contract to five years, $145 million.

Love was originally traded to the Cavaliers when LeBron James returned to the club in the summer of 2014. The move set up a big three, between James, Love and now Boston Celtic Kyrie Irving.

Now, after four straight finals appearances, an Irving trade and a LeBron free agent dash away from Cleveland (for the second time), Love remains as the only one standing who will don the C on his chest this season. And as Cavalier management hopes, for years to come.
