MENTOR - Northeast Ohio's newest professional sports team will hit the ice this fall.
The Mentor Ice Breakers will take to the ice at the Mentor Ice Arena this October, as one of two expansion teams in the Single-A Federal Hockey League.
Now in it's 9th season, the FHL consists of 6 teams, with teams playing a 59-game regular season.
The league features players from around the world and offer local hockey hopefuls a great opportunity play professionally, with tryout dates to be announced soon.
Led by general manager & coach Joe Pace, Sr., who set a league record for wins last year with Port Huron, the franchise promises to deliver a fun, family-friendly, professional hockey experience with tickets starting at just $10.00.
