Tip From Michigan Leads To Remains In East-Side Backyard

CLEVELAND - Local Authorities received a call from a Michigan Sheriff's office, that leads them to a partially buried body on the cities east-side.

Cleveland Police got the call from the Washtenaw County Sheriff's Department at 8 o'clock Friday night, regarding a body buried at 4159 E. 147th Street. When officers responded to the scene, they located skeletal remains buried under mulch and debris.

Members of the Washtenaw Department advised that they had arrested Devontey Gaines Brown for felonious assault  and domestic violence, and that his mother, Gaines Brown, who reportedly lived in the home, was the victim.
