(Cleveland, OH) -- Aaron Hicks' RBI double in the eighth inning put the Yankees ahead as they defeated the Indians 7-4 in Cleveland. Brett Gardner hit two homers and drove in three.
New York's offense picked up ace Luis Severino, who had a rare off-night by allowing four runs in five innings. David Robertson got the win and Aroldis Chapman his 25th save.
Edwin Encarnacion and Jose Ramirez homered for the Tribe. Corey Kluber pitched into the eighth inning, but was charged with six runs to take the loss.
