State Patrol Looking For Hit/Skip Driver; Struck Motorcycle

HARRISVILLE TOWNSHIP - The Medina Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol is attempting to locate a vehicle that fled the scene of a crash on 07-07-2018 at approximately 7:09 pm. 

The crash occurred on US 224/US 42 eastbound in Harrisville Twp., Lodi, Ohio.  

The suspect vehicle, described as a dark blue or black 4 door sedan, collided with a motorcycle and fled the scene. The driver of the motorcycle sustained serious injuries as a result of the crash.

A car believed to be the suspect vehicle was spotted changing a tire on North Redfield St in Lodi.  

Witnesses described the driver as a black male, approximately 20 years old, with a high-top fade haircut. The driver was slender, approximately 6 ft tall, and had tattoos on his chest and back. He was wearing blue gym shorts and did not have a shirt or shoes on. 

The vehicle was a dark blue 2007-2012 Nissan Altima with damage to the left front headlight, left front fender, left front wheel, and left rear quarter panel. 

The vehicle may have a small spare tire on the left front.
