CLEVELAND - Funeral arrangements for fallen Cleveland police officer, Vu Nguyen, have been announced.
50-year-old Nguyen passed away, Friday, after passing out while preforming an agility test while training for the K-9 unit.
Officials are still not sure what caused the 20-year veterans collapse, as Nguyen otherwise appeared in good health.
A viewing will take place Wednesday, July 11 from 2 to 4 p.m. and from 6 to 8 p.m. at Chambers Funeral Home, located at 4420 Rocky River Drive in Cleveland.
His funeral will take place, Thursday, July 12 at Our Lady of Angels Church beginning at 11 a.m.
The family says Officer Nguyen will be buried along side his late son, Devin at Lakewood Park Cemetery.
He is survived by his wife, two daughters and fourteen siblings.
