ELYRIA - The body of a 4-year-old boy was recovered after a home, in the center of Elyria, burst into flames.
The blaze broke out on 2nd Street, only two blocks away from the fire department and city hall, Saturday afternoon.
Four other family members, including two other children, were inside the home at the time, but all made it out safely.
Fire officials say the four-year-old ran upstairs when the house was overtaken by smoke and flames.
Investigators combed through debris for hours before finding the boy's body and say the fire was difficult to fight due to strong winds and the structure being an older home.
