LAKE COUNTY- The Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating a wrong-way crash that left a woman seriously injured.
According to reports, former WTAM 1100 host Will Burge, was traveling eastbound in the westbound lanes of I-90 in a RAV-4 when it crashed head-on into a Chevy Impala, just east of State Route 306 around 3 a.m. Sunday morning.
The driver of that Impala, Samia Campagna of Alliance, was transported by EMS to Hillcrest Hospital with incapacitating injuries. Burge was transported to Tri-Point Medical Center with minor injuries. A passenger in his vehicle did not sustain any injuries.
Alcohol is believed to be a factor in the crash. The accident remains under investigation.
