Independence - After a whirlwind night Thursday that saw top picks get traded, young men achieve their dreams, and franchises draft their "saviors", the Cleveland Cavaliers welcomed their choice home today.
Collin Sexton, or The Young Bull (as he calls himself) is now an official member of the wine and gold.
Take away the face that his press conference was lively. That he was energetic and compares himself to Bucks guard Eric Bledsoe, Washington Wizards star John Wall and MVP/Triple Double machine Russell Westbrook, and what you have was a 19-year-old who achieved something special. He's playing NBA basketball.
Cavs GM Koby Altman was adamant, albeit rumors if the team would even keep this pick to begin with, that Sexton will see plenty of meaningful minutes in a Cavs uniform, starting with the upcoming summer league.
Only time will tell if this move, and anything else that Cavaliers accomplish this off-season, will be enough to keep #23 in the land. For now, a new #2 will grace the court this upcoming season.
