(Cuyahoga County) - Cleveland Police continue to search for those involved in the shooting death of a nine-year-old girl.
Detectives report Saniyah Nicholson of Maple Heights was caught in the crossfire of people shooting at each other in broad daylight.
They say the shootout occurred between a group of people in car and a group on foot, at Cloverside and Miles near Harvard Road.
Cleveland officers and agents from the U.S. Marshal's office are seeking suspects who were spotted wearing black and blue hoodies. A $10,000 reward is being offered.
Anyone with relevant information should contact investigators at 216-623-5464 or 216-621-1234.
Activist Art McCoy is among those urging the suspects to turn themselves in immediately. He says the way the City of Cleveland fights crime needs to change. He contends unless there are new leaders with new ideas, the wave of violence will continue.
