(Cuyahoga County) - A Parma Heights police officer is being treated at a hospital after being shot in the leg this afternoon.
Investigators say it happened near an apartment complex near Stumph and Huffman Roads during a traffic stop.
A suspect was also shot. The incident forced the closure of Pearl Road at Broadview Avenue, as well as State Road, Memphis Avenue and Denison Avenue.
