Indians Cruise Past White Sox 6-0

(Cleveland, OH)  --  Jason Kipnis homered and drove in a pair of runs as the Indians cruised past the White Sox 6-2 in Cleveland.  Roberto Perez drove in two with a double to start the scoring in the second inning.  

The Tribe opened a 6-0 lead to back seven scoreless innings from winning pitcher Trevor Bauer.  

The Indians have won two straight after starting their homestand with two losses.  

Dylan Covey surrendered five runs in five innings to take the loss.  Matt Davidson homered for the White Sox, who are on a five-game slide.

The Tribe and White Sox clash again Tuesday night at Progressive Field.  Mike Clevinger starts for the Indians, and Carlos Rodon for the White Sox.  First pitch at 7:10 p.m. on WTAM 1100 and 100.7 WMMS.
