(Cleveland, OH) -- Yan Gomes clubbed a three-run double as the Indians topped the Twins 4-1 in Cleveland.
Tyler Naquin plated the other run for the Tribe, which avoided a three-game sweep. Shane Bieber pitched into the sixth inning for his first win. Cody Allen closed it out for his 14th save.
Eduardo Escobar went 3-for-4 with the lone RBI for Minnesota, which finished 3-and-3 on its road trip. Jake Odorizzi fell to 3-and-4 with the loss.
The Indians are two-and-a-half games in front of second-place Detroit.
