Indians Take Two Of Four From White Sox

(Chicago, IL)  --  Jose Ramirez belted a go-ahead two-run homer in the seventh inning and the Indians went on to beat the White Sox 5-2 in Chicago.  Francisco Lindor homered to lead off the game for Cleveland, which earned a split of the four-game set.  

Mike Clevinger struck out 11 over seven innings as he moved to 5-and-2 with the win.  Cody Allen closed it out for his 13th save.  

Jose Abreu hit a two-run homer in the first inning for the Southsiders.  Chris Volstad took the loss.

The Indians go into the weekend with a four-and-a-half game lead over Detroit.

Friday night, the Tribe begins a nine-game homestand against Central Division Rivals Minnesota, Chicago, and Detroit.  On Friday, Indians host the first of three against the Twins.  Corey Kluber takes the mound for the Indians, and Kyle Gibson for Minnesota.  First pitch at 7:10 on WTAM 1100 and 100.7 WMMS.
