State BCI Takes Over Macron Case

Bryon Macron

(Medina)  --  The nearly two-year-old investigation into the death of a Medina County township trustee will continue with a new agency in charge.  The sheriff's office says the Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation is now working the case after deputies couldn't find all the answers for Bryon Macron's death.

Macron's body was found last year in Chippewa Lake, several months after he went missing from his Lafayette Township office.

An autopsy noted several stab wounds, but also said that he could have died from drowning.
