LeBron Carries Cavs To Fourth-Straight NBA Fnals

(Boston, MA)  --  It took LeBron James playing all 48 minutes for the Cavaliers to pull out an 87-79 win over the Celtics in Game Seven of the Eastern Conference finals at TD Garden.  James scored 35 points with 15 rebounds and nine assists as Cleveland handed Boston their first loss at home of the playoffs.

It's the fourth straight NBA Finals' appearance for the Cavs and the eighth straight for LeBron between Cleveland and Miami.  Jeff Green added 19 and eight boards getting the start in place of the concussed Kevin Love.

It was a disastrous game for the Celtics backcourt of Terry Rozier and Jaylen Brown.  The duo combined to shoot 7-32 from the floor and 3-22 behind the arc.  The Celtics were 7-39 from deep as a team.  Jayson Tatum had a team-high 24 points for Boston, which lost the best-of-seven series four-games-to-three.

Cleveland will play either the Rockets or Warriors for the championship.  Game Seven of the Western Conference finals is Monday night in Houston.
