York Township - A 55-year-old Wadsworth man has died in a two-car crash in Medina County.
Officers from the Medina Highway Patrol post responded to the accident at 12:30AM Saturday on Erhart Road in York Township.
The Patrol says in a news release that Eric Wells was driving his 2000 Buick Century on Erhart Road when he struck a 2011 Kia Sorento driven by 52-year-old Marie Swisher of Medina.
Swisher was making a left turn out of a private driveway when the crash occurred.
Wells was taken to Medina Hospital, where he died of his injuries.
Mrs. Swisher was taken to Medina Hospital, then life-flighted to MetroHealth Medical Center.
Her injuries are said to be non-life-threatening.
The Patrol says Wells was not wearing a seat belt.
Alcohol is believed to be a factor in the crash, which is still under investigation.
