Tigers Rally Past Indians With 5-Run Seventh

(Detroit, MI)  --  The Tigers scored five times in the seventh inning to rally past the Indians for a 9-8 win at Comerica Park.  

Pete Kozma tied the game with an RBI double and John Hicks walked with the bases loaded to force in the go-ahead run for Detroit.  JaCoby Jones and Nicholas Castellanos homered for the Tigers, who trailed 5-1 in the second inning.  Louis Coleman got the win and Shane Greene his ninth save.  

Andrew Miller took the loss for Cleveland.  Brandon Guyer hit a grand slam in the first inning and Erik Gonzalez also homered for the Tribe.

The Indians will try to prevent a sweep on Wednesday afternoon.  Trevor Bauer starts for the Tribe, and Ryan Carpenter takes the mound for Detroit.  First pitch at 1:10 p.m.  Hear Tom Hamilton and Jim Rosenhaus call the game on WTAM 1100.
