(Cleveland) - The Google National Tour arrived in downtown Cleveland today.
Entitled, "Grow with Google" the tour was part of the tech company's larger initiative to help create economic opportunity for Americans throughout the country.
The free, one day event helped job seekers, small business owners, budding developers, students, educators and entrepreneurs to improve their digital skills. U.S. Senator Sherrod Brown, Congresswoman Marcia Fudge and Google Senior Vice President Kent Walker delivered remarks.
It was held at the Cuyahoga Community College Hospitality Management Center on Public Square.
The Grow with Google event featured six different workshops, one-on-one coaching sessions and interactive demo stations. Google staff conducted hands-on demonstrations about online marketing for small businesses, job search strategies, email basics and search engine optimization.
