Cleveland - Friday U.S. Sen. Sherrod Brown (D-OH) is joining Google to help Ohio small businesses and jobseekers develop their digital skills. Brown is partnering with Google to bring āGrow with Googleā to Cleveland, a one-day, free event to connect Ohioans with tools and resources to help them find a job, start a business, or grow their careers.
- Fridayās event features workshops, hands-on demonstrations and one-on-one coaching sessions for Ohioans hoping to further develop online skills and grow their business or individual careers. Ohioans interested in attending tomorrowās āGrow with Googleā workshop in Cleveland can register here.
The event will take place from 9 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. on Friday at Cuyahoga Community College's Hospitality Management Center.
Brown will tour a workshop session, provide remarks, and host a media availability. Brown will be joined at the event by small business owners Helen Qin and Jesse Mason of Masonās Creamery, U.S. Rep. Marcia Fudge (D-OH-11), Cleveland Mayor Frank Jackson, and Tri-C President Alex Johnson.
